The albums discography of south korean female_child group twice consists of six studio_apartment albums, four compilation albums, four reissues and football_team extended plays.
Formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015 through the survival display Sixteen, doubly debuted in October 2015 with the liberation of their beginning EP, The Story Begins. Twice’s moment EP, Page Two was released in April 2016. In October 2016, the group released their one-third EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 1. The EP became one of the best-selling albums by a daughter group in the history of Gaon Album Chart, with about 475,000 copies sold as of March 2020. Its reissue, Twicecoaster: Lane 2, was released in February 2017 and the group’s one-fourth EP, Signal, was late released in May. In October, their introduction studio_apartment album, Twicetagram and its star one debuted at number-one on the Billboard World Albums graph and World Digital Song Sales graph respectively, becoming the first_base female korean work to peak both charts simultaneously. The album was subsequently reissued as Merry & Happy in December. The erstwhile three releases became the acme three best-selling albums by a girlfriend group in 2017.
In 2018, the group released their one-fifth EP, What Is Love? in April, and was reissued as Summer Nights in July. Yes or Yes, their one-sixth EP followed in November, with a reprint titled as The class of “Yes” in December. The group maintained their best-selling female_child group of the class status. Selling over 250,000 copies, What Is Love?, Summer Nights and Yes or Yes each earned a platinum documentation from the Korea Music Content Association.
In 2019, the group’s one-seventh EP, Fancy You and eighth EP, Feel Special, were released in April and September respectively. After signing with Republic Records, their one-ninth EP, More & More, was certified 2x platinum by the KMCA for selling over 500,000 copies. The group besides entered the Billboard 200 at number-two hundred, becoming the one-fifth korean daughter group to chart. Twice’s second_base korean studio_apartment album and fourthly overall, Eyes Wide Open, charted at number-seventy two, making twice the third_base K-pop girlfriend group to enter the circus_tent 100 of the chart.
In 2021, Twice’s one-tenth extended play, Taste of Love, peaked at number-one on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, making it the first_gear EP from a female_child group to do so. It was besides the inaugural EP from a daughter group to enter the exceed 10 of the Billboard 200.
In Japan, doubly debuted in June 2017 with their beginning japanese compilation album, #Twice, earning their foremost platinum certificate from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The group’s beginning japanese studio_apartment album, BDZ was released in 2018 and was late platinum-certified. The repackaged version of the album was released in December 2018. In 2019, their moment japanese compilation album, #Twice2 was released in March and is platinum-certified by the RIAJ. In the lapp year, their second_gear japanese album &Twice was released in November. In 2020, a repackage of &Twice was released on February 5. later in September, their third_gear japanese compilation album #Twice3 was released and became their one-seventh act 1 album in the Oricon Albums Chart, making Twice the irregular alien female artist to achieve the feat. In July 2021, their third_base japanese studio_apartment album Perfect World was released.
To date, Twice have earned nine number-one albums in confederacy Korea and seven number-one albums in Japan’s Oricon Album Chart. The group is the highest-selling girlfriend group in south Korea, with over 5.8 million albums sold. They have sold over 10 million albums in south Korea and Japan cumulatively.
